A Roadmap to Success

Our meticulously planned curriculum adheres to the national curriculum for Key Stage 3 and seamlessly aligns with the AQA specifications for either GCSE Double or Triple Science. Rooted in the latest research and recognised by Ofsted, our Science Curriculum provides a solid foundation.

Unleashing Inner Scientists

We celebrate science throughout the year with exciting themed events like “Space Week”, “Brain Day” and “World Bee Day.” These wider curriculum lessons spark curiosity and broaden scientific horizons. Students also participate in our termly science competitions.

Nurturing Future STEM Leaders

We offer an after-school STEM club, featuring activities around Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Year 9 students can also get involved in Lego Robotics, participating in both regional and national competitions.

Mavericks

High-achieving students in Years 9, 10, and 11 may be selected for the prestigious “Science Mavericks” event. Collaborate with other Coast and Vale and Delta students from other academies to tackle real-world scientific challenges, exploring topics like the future of earth and the possibility of terraforming celestial bodies!
