Educational Visits

At Lady Lumley's we pride ourselves on offering a variety of safely managed educational visits for our students.

We see these visits as an integral  part of the broad and balanced curriculum that is offered at Lady Lumley's School.  They are an opportunity to extend students’ learning and enrich their appreciation and understanding of themselves, others and the world around them.  They can be the catalyst for improved academic performance or a lifetime interest and as such we encourage and support their role in the life of the school.  Where possible we aim to enable as many students as possible to participate in the range of visits offered by the school.

The trips are often run as a combined subject offer enabling students to increase knowledge and experience of different communities, languages and increase their confidence.  In previous years we have run visits to a variety of destinations both inside and outside of the United Kingdom.  These have included visits to a wide variety of UK places and also to destinations further afield such as the Lake District, Normandy, Berlin, London, Paris, Krakow and Auschwitz-Birkenau.
