Scalby School Digital Library

ePlatform - an online Library for Scalby School

Scalby School is pleased to introduce ePlatform, a digital library for students that provides free access to eBooks and Audiobooks.

The benefits of ePlatform Digital Libraries:
With ePlatform, your child has 24/7 access to eBooks and Audiobooks for free. This is a wonderful extension of our physical school library and allows books to be checked out at home, over the weekend or during school breaks.

Students of all ages can benefit from ePlatform's reading and comprehension tools. ePlatform can:

  • Introduce students to books above their reading level;
  • Help busy students find time to read;
  • Increase vocabulary and improve pronunciation and comprehension;
  • Support all types of readers & listeners.

How does it work?
If your child has a mobile phone, ensure your child has the ePlatform app which can be downloaded for free from the Apple Store, Google Play Store, or visit ePlatform: eBooks and Audiobooks in School Libraries  to begin - (it’s called ‘ePlatform by Wheelers’). You can access the library from lap-tops and PCs as well.

Students have their own unique login to access the platform which would be:

Username (their full school email - for example):  jblogg23@sc.coastandvale.academy

Followed by their:

Password: the same that they use log-in to school PCs with.

Scanning this QR code will take you to a YouTube guide that will help you access this resource:
